June 5 | Journey to Natarajasana

During this extra-long yoga class, Daphne takes you through deep backbends, on your way to 'Dancer's Pose'.

Our "Journey to..." series is for curious yogis who want to delve deeper into asana and learn more about embodied movement.

Each XL class focuses on one specific pose or family of poses, with the goal of developing greater understanding, confidence, and enjoyment in your yoga practice. We explore the key techniques of each pose and look at which muscles lengthen in the pose and which need strengthening.

Using the step-by-step approach of the Vinyasa yoga system, you'll gain insight into modifications and variations that support your individual practice. We use props like blocks and straps to make poses more accessible and supportive.

These extra long lessons will help make your practice more effortless, safe, powerful and smooth.

Fun fact: we'll also explore the Sanskrit names and myths behind the asanas. These stories convey the essence and inspiration of each pose.
